Our Approach
About the owner
My name is Mariah Ehlert and I’m a portrait photographer at Mariah Ehlert Photography. After dreaming about this for a long time, this building crossed my path and I jumped on it! I renovated this building into a studio and home. I am happy to share it with fellow entrepreneurs needing a space to help manifest their dreams. I am dedicated to helping people realize their dreams. As a photographer, I'm grateful to be able to create authentic, interesting images to help my clients' businesses shine, a dating profile stand-out, or a dream session showing your most beautiful self. I want to celebrate, empower, and serve those around me.
The Sanctuary Studio building is an old brownstone church, built in 1896. It was home to a number of congregations and eventually became a storage unit for the infamous Flossy McGrew, aka Grandma Goth. In 2016 I purchased it and started the long renovation process. This place has my heart in it and I hope you love it as much as I do. Send me a message and come take a look.
